Frequently Asked Questions About Dew Drop Mobile Bar

What is the Dew Drop Mobile Camper?

The Dew Drop is a converted 1950 Little Gem Camper. It includes a sink, a 3 door refrigerator, ice chest. The camper can have 2 servers inside.

Does your bartending service include alcohol?

We do not provide alcohol. While we do not hold a liquor license and our services do not include alcohol, we can certainly provide you with some assistance in purchasing the right amount of alcohol for your event.

Where are you located; do you travel?

We are located in Long Beach, CA. We are able to travel within 25 miles of the Long Beach area at no additional cost. Should you require any further distance we can make accommodations for you at an additional $3 per mile; please email us for more information.

Where can The Dew Drop Camper park?

We need to park on private property and have some room to get in and out easily. We try to avoid precarious situations (no “tight fits”, no more than a 5-10% grade, we are best suited for flat open areas, and no backing down roads with steep drop-offs). If you're interested in partying in a park or public place you will need to obtain the proper permits and/or licenses. We will need access to electricity; a generator is available at additional costs and remember generators are noisy.

What is the process to secure our rental?

In order to secure your date and our service, we require a minimum 50% initial payment as well as a signed contract. Once we receive those two items your event date is booked. Your full payment is due 7 days before the event. Cancellations made within 60 days of the event will not receive a refund for the deposit.

Are you insured?

Our camper and satellite bar are insured and our business carries general liability insurance. We do not hold a liquor license nor do we have liquor insurance, you or your event organizer will have to secure liquor insurance.

How early should we book?

As soon as possible! Due to the amount of inquiries we receive and in the Spring to Summer our calendar tends to fill up quickly. We require a non-refundable deposit to reserve your date. This deposit will go towards your final payment.

Do you have a rain date policy?

Though we cannot change dates last minute due to inclement weather, all of our bars work well under tents (or even inside). The host is responsible for tent coverage of the bar, but we are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate size tent for your event.
